'Malaysian Women Unite' fund-raising to build homes for Orang Asli

PETALING JAYA (March 10): The ‘Malaysian Women Unite’ campaign, a public and private initiative of Extraordinary People Impacting Communities (EPIC) and the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development is aiming to raise at least RM850,000 to build homes for 17 Orang Asli families in Kampung Sungai Kelubi, Rawang, Selangor.

PPR Seri Cempaka sports court ready for a splash of colour

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 20): The outdoor sports court of PPR Seri Cempaka public housing scheme in Pantai Dalam, Kuala Lumpur has been patched up and ready for a colourful paint makeover next week! The refurbishment which is under the Sayangi Rumahku campaign, also saw the court being extended by some 20ft to accommodate a futsal and badminton court in addition to the existing netball court.
