M101 Dang Wangi

PETALING JAYA (Jan 5): M101 Holdings Sdn Bhd is targeting to handover the Small-office Flexible-office (SoFo) units in M101 Dang Wangi by 2H2017, according to the company’s founder and CEO Datuk Seth Yap Ting Hau.

“Following the completion of the development’s structure, we are now entering our finishing stage and we are targeting to handover by 2H2017,” Yap said in a press statement today.

M101 Dang Wangi, M101 Holdings’ maiden project in Kuala Lumpur, is a 26-storey freehold integrated development on 11,500 sq ft of land.

The project which carries a gross development value (GDV) of RM130 million comprises 11 storeys of 143 SoFo units (to be managed by Best Western Hotels), as well as four storeys of 10 retail units. The remaining floors are facility levels which include car parks, banquet hall, hotel lobby and swimming pool.

The development has a 5-star lobby concierge area leading up to the hotel where each unit features a keyless access card system. Guests can also enjoy the infinity pool and rooftop gym with an unblocked KLCC view.

The topping-up ceremony for M101 Dang Wangi was held recently and it is scheduled for vacant possession by 2Q2017.

“The on track progress of our maiden development also demonstrated the company’s ability for timely delivery. Hence, buyers of M101 Bukit Bintang can rest assured of timely delivery by 2Q2018,” he added.

Meanwhile, according to Yap, its flagship project — the  iconic 78-storey M101 Skywheel designed by Studio F.A Porsche, has started construction.

Situated on a two-acre freehold site located between Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz and Off Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur city centre, the project carries a GDV of RM1.4 billion.

The development comprises two 78-storey towers and a Ferris wheel, which is 60m in diameter to be built on the 52nd floor in between the two towers.

It will feature SoFo units, a SkyMall that offers over 200,000 sq ft of retail space, serviced suites and a hotel.
