KUALA LUMPUR (April 24): Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has secured RM123.32 million of interior design works from the Kota Kinabalu Public Works Department.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the infrastructure construction firm said its wholly-owned subsidiary Bina Puri Sdn Bhd has accepted the letter of award on Apr 20, 2015 to undertake the project known as “Cadangan Pusat Pentadbiran Negeri Sabah, Teluk Likas, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah”(interior design works: Block A and Block B); the completion period is 12 months.

“With the latest award mentioned above, the group’s unbuilt book order stands at RM2.17 billion as at to date. With this award, we have managed to secure RM543 million projects in 2015 and we believe there will be more opportunities to secure further projects by year end,” Bina Puri said.

“The said project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings of Bina Puri group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2015,” it added.

Bina Puri fell one sen or 1.74% to 56.5 sen as at market break, with a market capitalisation of RM117.53 million.
