KUALA LUMPUR: Electrical and mechanical engineering company, YFG Bhd (formerly known as PJI Holdings Bhd), has received a letter of award for the construction and completion of a condominium development in Sabah for a contract sum of RM255.9 million.

YFG said in an announcement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday that its wholly owned subsidiary, YFG Trolka Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award dated Aug 1 from Palikota Sdn Bhd, a member of Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association. YFG Trolka Sdn Bhd was formerly known as Kejuruteraan Trolka Sdn Bhd.

Palikota Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned unit of Jesselton Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd.

“The duration of the project is 24 months, commencing from August 2013 to August 2015,” YFG said.

The proposed commercial and 27-storey waterfront condominium development known as Jesselton Residences Waterfront is located at Jalan Haji Saman in Kota Kinabalu.

YFG said the project consists of four levels of premium mall, five levels of car park and three blocks of 20-storey super condominiums located at the shorefront of the central business district in Kota Kinabalu.

The project is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of the group, it said. — by Charlotte Chong
