The Ministry of Finance (MOF) said the provision was attributed to EPF’s 20% stake in the JV firm Battersea Project Holding Company Ltd (BPHCL).
Relocating from Millbank Tower in Westminster, the agency's new global headquarters at 50 Electric Boulevard will come with views across the capital and its own private roof terrace of approximately 3,350 sq ft.
In April this year, Battersea Power Station completed a sale contract for 50 Electric Boulevard in Phase 3B, including a rental guarantee for the first five years of the contract period from April 2024 to March 2029.
The group also received certificates from the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) at their awards excellence ceremony to celebrate the gold award winners of the FIABCI World Prix D’Excellence Awards 2024 in Putrajaya on June 7.
Battersea Power Station currently has over 3,500 office workers from 30 different companies, including the 500,000 sq ft Apple store, SharkNinja and IWG’s flexible co-working space called The Engine Room.
For 2024, Battersea Power Station will expand its office component with the launch of a 200,000 sq ft office building called 50 Electric Boulevard.
Battersea Power Station’s existing 565,000 sq ft of office space has been occupied by Apple, SharkNinja and The Engine Room — a coworking space by IWG.
