Najib to Dr M: 'So, I am the main cause of the PH government’s collapse. I didn’t even know that'

KUALA LUMPUR (March 11): Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak (pictured) claims today he does not know that he is the main cause of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government's collapse.

Najib said this via Twitter in response to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s accusation that the PH government's collapse was Najib’s doing.

Najib said: “So, I am the main cause of the PH government’s collapse. I didn’t even know that. Now, I know.”

“Me playing on FB (Facebook) can also topple a government? Dangerous also,” Najib said.

Former prime minister Dr Mahathir, when asked about the conspiracy behind the PH government’s fall, alleged in an interview with Sinar Harian that the PH government's collapse was Najib’s doing.

“When he (Najib) lost GE14 (Malaysia’s 14th general election), he had the idea of forming a Malay-Islam government to get more Malay support to win.

“That’s why he tried for very long, although his approach was not effective and failed. In the end, we (PH) won,” Dr Mahathir said.
