KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territories and Urban Well-Being Ministry will issue a set of guidelines next month pertaining to the 1Malaysia Maintenance Fund.
Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin said the ministry and other agencies were fine-tuning several proposals to manage the fundl, he told reporters after handing over contributions of school items from the Federal Territories Foundation to 200 children of staff of Kuala Lumpur City Hall, here on Feb 11.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had announced on Jan 31 a RM37.6-million 1Malaysia Maintenance Fund for the maintenance of low-cost houses built by the private sector, particularly flats in the city. - Bernama
