Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, his wife, his brother and two others have applied to strike out the RM52.6 million civil suit filed against them by businessman Deepak Jaikishan claiming conspiracy and fraud.

This marks the seventh day for Yu — the 54th prosecution witness in the trial — in the witness stand, after a long and aggressive round of questioning by Najib's lawyer Harvinderjit Singh over the past week. 

"This follows the High Court being prepared to accommodate the parties' schedules when necessary. The parties [prosecution and defence] are at liberty to apply [for postponement before the trial judge] should the SRC International Sdn Bhd trial fail to conclude," the court ruled.
