Three Felda board members under probe

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 11): Three board members of Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) Investment Corp Sdn Bhd (FIC) who were supposed to be in office at the time of the controversial Jalan Semarak land deal are also under probe by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the purchase of hotels in London and Sarawak, the English daily New Straits Times reported today.

MACC makes another arrest over FIC’s Kuching hotel purchase

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 1): The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) arrested a former special officer to a former Felda chairman to assist in the probe into the purchase of a hotel in Kuching, Sarawak by Felda Investment Corp (FIC), Bernama reported today The anti-graft body’s chief commissioner Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad said the man was held at 4am at the MACC’s Putrajaya Office where he had gone to provide a statement, Bernama reported.
