KUALA LUMPUR (April 21): Mayland Universal Sdn Bhd is said to be building the last high-rise development in Sri Hartamas.

The 27-storey Hermitage @ Sri Hartamas is made up of 707 units of serviced apartments and 150 units of hotel suites. The apartment units are available for sale and the project comes complete with 1,516 parking bays. It is targeted for completion in June next year. “Hermitage” is the old French word for “dwelling place of the hermit”.

Speaking about the take-up rates at the launch of Hermitage @ Sri Hartamas last Friday, chief operating officer Terence Saw said that “we have already sold over RM10 milllion worth of properties”, in reference to the serviced apartments.

Interested buyers have an option to select the units from various layouts and sizes, either partly or fully furnished. All units are designed to cater to different requirements. The studio units that have a built-up 474 sq ft are priced from RM483,000 while the 1 and 2-bedroom units are sized from 560 sq ft and priced from RM563,000.

CEO Adam Leow Soon Huat said that considering that the luxury residence is already halfway done, prospective purchasers can rest assured that the project will be completed in time.

Hermitage @ Sri Hartamas commands an exclusive panoramic view of the Istana Negara as well as the Kuala Lumpur skyline. It is surrounded by a hilly range that skirts the Klang Valley, giving the area an old country feel.

It is also just 15 minutes away from the city centre and is well connected via highways such as the Sprint Expressway, North Klang Valley Expressway and the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway.

Residents of the project will also enjoy the convenience afforded by the neighbouring Hartamas Shopping Centre and other retail outlets and restaurants in the Sri Hartamas area.
