SHAH ALAM (Dec 14): S P Setia Bhd’s four-month Jet Set with Setia campaign ended on Saturday (Dec 12) with the announcement of the grand prize winner, Lee Sheng Jie.

Lee bagged an all-expense paid trip to London, Melbourne, Qinzhou, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Datai, Langkawi with Setia in addition to a Canon camera and a year-long subscription to a weekly paper.

“I am totally surprised yet extremely excited to have won the grand prize,” Lee remarked upon having her number drawn. “After seeing what the previous winners have experienced, I cannot wait to start jet setting with S P Setia. I think it is a really great programme to reward purchasers with such exclusive experiences, what’s more I can bring along a travel partner!”

The campaign drew to a close with a third and final draw event, with the first two held in September and October.

The contest was open to all S P Setia property purchasers who signed their sale and purchase agreements this year.

“Having celebrated Setia’s 40th anniversary this year and winning many awards along the way, we can’t thank purchasers enough for their support in walking this journey with us, alongside us. We hope we have done enough to keep the support coming and that the purchasers will keep on believing in the Setia brand to deliver on our promises,” said S P Setia acting president and CEO Datuk Khor Chap Jen.

There were another 22 prizes presented to other winners from Penang, Klang Valley, Johor and Kota Kinabalu during the draw, with rewards such as 10 high-tea experiences on a luxury yacht.

The Jet Set with Setia contest was part of the group’s 40th anniversary celebrations to reward loyal purchasers. It featured three draw events where winners were granted trips to countries S P Setia had a presence in, namely the UK, Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, China and Malaysia, with the final prize being one which included all six locations. The contest arrived on the heels of the successful Triple A (affordable, appreciative, and attractive) promotion held earlier in the year.
