Najib's lawyers file application to defer 1MDB audit tampering trial

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 14): Lawyers for Datuk Seri Najib Razak had yesterday filed a formal written application to the High Court to defer the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) audit tampering trial, which will begin next Monday (Nov 18), so they could prepare the former premier's defence for the SRC International Sdn Bhd trial, which will start on Dec 3.

Najib issued six cheques totalling RM15m to Umno Kedah, court told

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 13): The High Court here was told today that former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak (pictured) had, between April 25, 2012 and June 19, 2013, issued six cheques to Umno Kedah that amounted to RM15 million, a portion of which is alleged to be linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and Tanore Finance Corp.
