Zahid directed that DTSB's passport chips be used: Witness

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 14): The High Court was told today that the Home Ministry was directed by then Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to use the passport chips of Datasonic Technologies Sdn Bhd (DTSB), a company owned by his friend, for Malaysian passports.

Zahid signed 51 Yayasan akalbudi cheques worth RM31m, says witness

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 12): The High Court here was told yesterday that former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi signed 51 cheques including a banker's cheque, totalling RM31 million in funds belonging to charity foundation Yayasan Akalbudi, in order to make several payments including that for his personal use.
