Malaysia's total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered tops 14 mil on July 17

KUALA LUMPUR (July 18): Malaysia's total number of administered Covid-19 vaccine doses topped 14 million so far yesterday (July 17) although the daily figure fell to 380,440 from 406,763 the day before (July 16), according to the latest updates on Twitter today by the country's Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV), citing data from the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF).

In rare move, MOF invites DAP lawmakers to National Recovery Plan meeting

KUALA LUMPUR (July 17): In a rare move, Malaysia's Ministry of Finance (MOF) has invited opposition lawmakers from the Democratic Action Party (DAP) to the ministry's office in Putrajaya to discuss the country's Covid-19-driven National Recovery Plan (NRP) with Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz on Thursday (July 15), during which the DAP representatives presented a RM45 billion recovery and stimulus plan for the MOF's consideration.
