KUALA LUMPUR (July 28): Sunway Construction Group Bhd pared gains after rising as much as 12 sen on its maiden trade on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.

Sunway Construction rose to its highest so far today at RM1.32 before trading at RM1.23 at 10.12am. The bourse's most-active entity saw some 117 million shares done.

Sunway Construction shares were listed at its initial public offering (IPO) price of RM1.20 each. The stock saw an opening price of RM1.27.
 
The IPO of Sunway Construction included an offer for sale of up to 398.71 million shares, of which, the institutional portion comprised up to 327.6 million units.

Meanwhile, the retail portion involved 71.11 shares.
