KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 15): The cross-examination of Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi in the 1Malaysia Developmemnt Bhd (1MDB)-Tanore trial enters its sixth day today, as defence counsel Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah is expected to grill him further about his alleged interference of the government audit into 1MDB in 2010.

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 15): Lead defense counsel Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah has alleged former 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) chief executive officer Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi had conspired with alleged “puppetmaster” Low Taek Jho to obstruct an audit by the National Audit Department (NAD) into the state-owned fund in 2010.
