MPSJ health director Dr Roslan Mohamed Hussin warned the public that “residents can be fined RM500 for each breeding spot found in their property”.
“Many have approached me to open durian stalls here in conjunction with the fruiting season which starts July, so I took the initiative to find a proper place for the traders to have their stalls."
“This is a worrying trend, so we are asking residents to be mindful of their surroundings and conduct search and destroy programmes within their homes."
